Speak With Me Books

This giveaway is closed.
Annette from Live, Learn, Love is the lucky winner.
Thanks to all who entered!

Our third Birthday Party sponsor is Speak With Me Books.

Speak With Me Books is a children's book series, specifically designed to promote speech development. The books are written by Angela Holzer. Angela has a Masters in Educational Counseling and her Undergraduate in Psychology. Her professional experience has included creating and writing an HIV/AIDS prevention program for children in Africa, working with Reach The Children, Inc., United Families International, and the Stay Alive Team. She is now excited to enhance the lives of children through speech development.

The Speak With Me Books empower children with sounds, words, and phrases they can feel confident and comfortable using. They also include tips on positive praising and proper modeling in order for children and adults to have fun and learn together. In addition, each book purchase comes with a free Speech and Language Development Chart that gives details about each stage of development. It is the perfect companion for these books.

For more information and guidance, the Speak With Me website is a wonderful resource. It has a page of helpful tips for parents, teachers , and speech therapists. Angela also has a blog spot where she posts company updates and testimonials. They even have a video blog that features customers and their children using the Speak With Me series.

For this giveaway, Speak With Me Books is giving one winner a copy of Sammy Learns to Talk.

WOW! I really want to win this giveaway for my daughter, Meghan. She has a speech disorder called verbal apraxia.

I liked how each book has a special introduction to help a parent best use the book!

These seem like wonderful books! The website is helpful in listing ways to recognize speech delays and what your child should be doing at a certain age. Very helpful. They are cute books!

I love the tip section. My son would really benefit from the book that helps with the "F" sound. Colin was adopted from Russia in December 2008 and we have been working hard on his speech!

I love on your website how you show what each book contains, very easy to understand what you're getting. I am a homeschooling mom and I took my son for a speech evaluation a couple of times but since he was so high on his comprehension and other areas I feel they overlooked the speech issue and they have also raised the age to 8 years old I believe for what is within normal limits but in my mind early intervention is best. These books would be very helpful to us since my son is 6 and having trouble with his reading.

I love the repetition part of sounds. It's so important to hear the sounds over and over again for children to pick up the sounds.
