My Little Astronaut

This week Jesse Bear's favorite book is On the Moon. We have read this book a bajillion times! Each time we read it his questions become more detailed. "Why does he wear a helmet? What is Oxygen? Why does he need Oxygen? Does he get hot in that suit? Why does he leave his flag on the moon?" And these are just a few!

Today, while I was putting away laundry, Jesse came up to me looking like this...

He explained that ~ He is an Astronaut. The bucket on his head is his helmet. The backpack is his "air tank holder". The yellow thing sticking out of the side of the backpack is his "air tube that shoots out air" (really a shovel).

Gotta love his imagination!
