Well, we finally went a couple of weeks ago and we had an absolute blast. The only bad part was ~ I forgot my camera ~ GASP! How does a Mom forget her camera on one of the biggest days of her daughters' lives? Oh, that's right! It is called rushing around at 6:00 in the morning to catch a train. Anyway...I had to take pics on my phone. Unfortunately, my phone does not take the greatest pictures, but it was better than nothing.
Here are some pictures from the cafe at the American Girl shop.
Yes, the dolls get their very own chairs, plates, and mugs. So cute, huh?
This is Gracen's Itty Bitty Baby named Lily.
This is Samantha and Kit. They are enjoying some hot cocoa.
This is Lily and Gracen waiting for their miniature hotdogs and hamburgers.
And this was what we had for dessert. A perfect ending to a lovely lunch.
All of that shopping wore my two little girls out.
This was such a fun day. We will have to make it a tradition.

Oh, I love those dolls and those pretty girls :) When my daughter is older, we have to make it a tradition too. I am pretty sure that she will like dolls then - right now she is totally indifferent to them.
Awesome Tara!! I'm so glad you guys got to do this. Wasn't it a blast?!
Can't wait to go back to our nearby store (Atlanta) with Hanna in February!
I don't know who has the most fun, me or Hanna:-).
I'm glad you got these pictures, and your girls look adorable.
That's so sweet! Merry Christmas!
That looks like so much fun for you and your daughters!! I had a Kirsten doll when I was younger...wishing I had a daughter to share my love of American Girls dolls with!
My closest store (well, once back State side) is also Atlanta. When we went to NYC (my husband and I) I dragged him into the store. I can't wait to take Bear when she is a bit older!
Fun!
That is a trip I always wanted to make as a kid. (You know, back in the "old days" when the only American Girls were Kirsten, Samantha and Molly).
Maybe someday, with my own kids.
Thhank you for writing this
