This week's Friday's Gracious Giveaways sponsor is ME. I am giving away a copy of The Belly Button Fairy Book and Audio CD.
I was recently sent a copy of Bobbie Hinman's The Belly Button Fairy to review. Gracen, my six year old daughter, and I completely fell in love with this book. It is a sweet, whimsical tale about how babies get their belly buttons. The rhyming text and colorful, heart-warming illustrations make this book appealing to children.
Gracen particulary liked the audio CD that came with the book. She was able to easily follow along. In fact, there is a pretty little tinkling sound of a bell that signals when the children should turn the page. The CD also includes a fun song about the Belly Button Fairly. We have listened to it many times.
The Belly Button Fairy is the third book in Ms. Hinman's series of fairy books. The other two titles are The Knot Fairy, a tale about a fairy who likes to put tangles in children's hair, and The Sock Fairy (Book & Audio CD), a tale about a fairy who can always find your socks.
To learn more about Ms. Hinman and her enchanting series of fairy books, visit her at Best Fairy Books.

This would be fun to read with my daughter - and I think my son might enjoy it too. Plus, we love to listen to stories on CD in the car (since both my kids get carsick if they look at books in the car!) so we'd get double duty out of this one!
